the last pull of the season...

What a way to end the 2011 Pulling season! The Malpas Team staged the last point-scoring Pull at Dearnford Lake, just outside Whitchurch in Shropshire which proved to be a stunning location. The event was well supported on both days by a large and enthusiastic crowd who were royally entertained not only by fine Pulling but also big Dave on the mic... Congratulations to all of those from Malpas who organised such a fine event and everyone from Malpas and the SWTPA who worked so hard to make is a roaring success!

new association for scotland

A large section of the Scottish Pulling contingent has broken away from the STPA and formed the STTPA (Scottish Truck and Tractor Pulling Association). The SWTPA are very pleased to welcome the STTPA as an affiliate to both the the SWTPA and the IOPD.

The STTPA ran their inaugural Pull at Keith Country Show Park on the 18th & 19th of June and a number of South West Pullers joined them, along with 'Total Friction', the SWTPA Sledge, plus a number of guest Pullers from across the Irish Sea. We wish the STTPA well.
